Xbox Game Pass wraps April with Grand Theft Auto 5, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

The latter is especially intriguing as one of the rare turn-based RPGs to come from a country other than Japan in recent years. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

is the first game from French studio Sandfall Interactive, developed as a fantasy adventure through a Belle Époque-inspired world. Imagine the gameplay of Persona 5 mixed with the aesthetics of Lies of P and you’ll have a rough idea of what Clair Obscur is trying to accomplish.

A handful of games are also leaving Game Pass on April 30. I’ll admit, I’m not too familiar with any of these, but I was impressed by the writing and unique style of Thirsty Suitors despite only spending a few hours immersed in its romantic world.
